Pastor Russ Emanuel of Olive Grove Church Clinton, NC
In life there will always be times when we have to fight, but the most important fight of all is the fight of faith. In this message Pastor Russ speaks about becoming a faith fighter. In order to become a faith fighter you must first determine what faith is and how much you have. Faith is believing what you cannot see and complete confidence that we rely on God and depend on His reliability when we don't know the outcome of our circumstances. It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith requires the will to endure, work or practice, and a walk or continued belief at all times through any storm. You must also understand who and what you're fighting. The devil will come in all types of disguises ready and willing to take you out. However, if you have practiced your faith, endured until the end, and walked into the storm unknowing of the outcome but sure of your triumph, you will be ready for the test. Matthew 17:20 says 'He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” We must believe that God is who He says He is and that through Him all things are possible. So if you endure through the storm and believe that your finish will be strong then you will have a strong finish, fight the good fight of faith.
